I am the Lead Planner and founder of Roberts & Co. Events, with 7 years of wedding and event awesomeness under my belt. I am the proud mommy to my whirlwind 3 year old, Jackson. After attending East Carolina University (go Pirates!) I was fortunate to move to the D.C area and founded this business, which is blossoming into bigger better thing every year! My years of floral design experience, creative visual merchandising education, and private event experience have provided me with the foundation to begin what would later become the successful business it is today.
Each client comes with new possibilities and challenges that I embrace and love to tackle. I work hard to treat all my clients like family, and to make sure that at the end of the event, my clients are happy, stress free, and were able to enjoy the party!! Our philosophy is to make sure that not only do the clients enjoy the event, but their guests walk away talking about it for years to follow.

I graduated from James Madison University with a BS in Health Sciences and a minor in Nutrition and got my Master's degree in Public Administration from George Mason University. I enjoy life and love spending time with my wonderful husband and amazing little one year old.
I have spent the last few years learning how to provide the ultimate wedding experience from the best vendors in the industry and enjoy working with new venues and photographers! I love meeting new clients and working with them to create their perfect dream wedding.
I love watching couples the first time they see their venue set up the day of their wedding, just as they had described and it takes their breath away. It is an amazing feeling and one they will not forget.
We founded this business as an idea that we wanted to create a personalized approach to working with clients. I am the man that brings all of Tabitha’s visions to life in creating new custom design elements including bars, backdrops, floral centerpiece structures, and anything her mind can dream up. I studied Architecture and Drafting, and work as a Project Manager in my “non wedding” life for a growing commercial Architecture firm. I unwind by mountain biking and getting into trouble with my “adventurous” 3 year old!
When the projects are done and off to a new event. Its great to see our hard work go from paper to real life, sometimes reworked (and cursed) in the middle!
I am proud to be an Coordinator for Roberts & Co. where I have been since 2012. I have been planning events since 2007, when I first started coordinating fashion shows and luxury children's parties. I found my niche in the wedding and mitzvah scene in 2011 and love all things over the top and outrageous. I have a customized degree in Event Planning from the University of Richmond.
I always love being the first person to arrive at the venue and seeing it as a blank space and transforming it into a beautiful and customized space for each individual couple.

Stepping back and watching the first dance! It’s the pinnacle moment of the evening, what we have all been waiting for. The couple’s genre selection is always a treat; from reggae to classical there is never a dry eye!
